Making art is a joy. Selling it allows other people to experience that joy.
I paint in oils but don't stick to one genre, taking inspiration from the landscapes and farms around where I live in central Switzerland but also from everyday objects.
I paint quirky stuff too. I like to keep it fresh.
I paint primarily in oils. and depending on the subject, sometimes alla prima but more often, in several layers with glazes too allowing rich colours to build up.
I use a pretty limited palette, especially for landscape paintings but for other subjects too which keeps things real and although some people say my painting look like photographs, I don't aim for hyper-realism and looking close-up, there is a lot of abstraction in my brushwork.
